Adventure Tour Burma: Go fishing with Dolphins
Go fish with the dolphins in Burma.
You know that special thing we seem to have for dolphins?
Well, here's the chance to see it in a way you never would have thought possible.
Firstly - you have to like boats because you'll spend most of this three-day tour progressively travelling north along the Ayeyarwaddy (Irrawady) River from Mandalay to KyaukMyaung, via Myayzun.
You'll even sleep on the boat. (Did I mention the liking boats thing?)
Along the way you'll take in the beauty of the river and its abundant migratory birdlife and get the chance to visit some Myanmar marvels, like the Mingun Pahtodawgyi Pagoda and the largest ringing bell in the world, the Mingun Bell.
But it's on Day Two that you'll witness a unique working relationship between dolphins and local fisherman proving dolphins are as smart as we think. We're not going to tell you how...but seeing is believing, and you will be blown away when you see the relationship the fisherman have with their marine fishing partners.
A bit further down the river you'll stop over night at a town famous for its pottery, Kyauk Myaung, before a leisurely cruise the next day back downriver to Mandalay.
